| Our
unique adventures cover a terrain not commonly traveled, so many
questions arise as to what can be expected. These are some of
the most popular. If you have any additional questions, please
contact us by phone (305) 299-1366 or email.
Where
is Ride-The-Wind?
Our business is not like a store or even like
a traditional deep sea marina. Our boats traverse the Everglades
which extend well west of Fort Lauderdale and Miami. We put
the boats into the water in a variety of locations, depending
on the adventure requested. Most frequently we enter through
the boat ramp at mile marker 34 on
Alligator Alley.
Are
your trips family friendly?
Kid's love it!!! It's a new and exciting experience
for them. The combination of active/passive activities keeps
them participating without wearing them out. They also learn
about the Everglades and the Wildlife.
How loud is the boat's engine?
Traditional airboats make a distinctive sound, especially those powered by airplane engines. Our
hi-performance
vehicles are quite different. Our sound reduction system and
mufflers keep the noise down and the excitement up. We do carry
earplugs onboard for those with sensitivities.
How does
your pricing work?
Our pricing is per boat (charter) and
we can accomidate up to 9 humans. Trips are bookeed on a per
hour basis, please see the chart here.

Are
there alligators?
Yes, of course there are... lots of them. The
Florida Everglades are home to many types of wildlife with the
alligator sitting on the top of the natural food chain. You'll
see birds, fish and plenty of alligators.
